Test Your Technology

Everyone should be prepared to launch each monthly virtual session on time. Check and test your technology including Wi-Fi, Microphone, camera, and your selected virtual background.

Consider Using a Headset with Microphone

Using a Headset with an external microphone will improve sound clarity to achieve a better experience for everyone.

Practice Speaking to the Camera

When speaking, look directly at your camera. This will create eye-to-eye contact as if you are speaking to each participating member.

Dress Appropriately

Casual dress is appropriate. Avoid cutoff tee-shirts. Always dress below the waistline to help avoid embarrassing moments.

Speak Up Upon Entry

When you enter a small meeting (around 2 to 5 people) announce yourself when you join. Just make sure not to interrupt someone mid-sentence.
